Thanks for this. I am still not comfortable with the use of the dark background. As Marita said, particularly for anyone joining by zoom, it will be difficult to see. And the fact is that, apparently - according to people with sight impairment, white text on dark background is even more difficult to see. So NEXT time, there MUST be light backgrounds for all presentations - particularly since meetings will most likely continue as a mixture of in person and zoom - so just having a light background for zoom and not for presentations makes no sense for this or later meetings. Unless everyone is unhappy, I’d prefer to go back to what Cheryl did - the first page uses the background. Then put the rest of the slides back on plain white background with black text. (and please go back to the slides that Cheryl originally provided with her text) I realize the additional work, but the aim is slides that can be understood by all. Thanks to everyone for their efforts - we’ll get there. It’s just taken more time and effort that we’d plan. And Ricardo - yours are the last slides that we are waiting for and a bit of time to go. Totally agree re-dark backgrounds, I’ve used White font to make it easier, but still would work much better with light background.

That puzzles me. I looked at the backgrounds for this meeting - there were four -and one of them was light. What happened to it?
Please ask people in charge of the backgrounds. Text on those backgrounds is simply too hard to read on small screens and since people will be joining online as well as those with sight difficulties, I'd rather have no background.
I realize that seems petty, but At one stage in my career, I headed up the Aust. Broadcasting Corp EO Unit, and later, was project manager to develop consumer codes for the telco industry - including one on disability equipment. So over the years, I have become acutely aware of disability issues, and light text on dark backgrounds is a big no no. So again, please either find the light background that I did see, or have no background except for the front slide
