Dear all, This month's report is uncharacteristically short. You can read the lengthier version in the relevant workspace - GNSO Council 12 Feb 2026 meeting report <https://icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/atlarge/pages/722010207/GN...> by clicking on 'Report to the ALAC' The only key issue of note, in my opinion, is regarding the System for Standardized Access/Disclosure (SSAD) - Council is in agreement with the RDRS Standing Committee's Recommendation 5 – which in brief, was to recommend that ICANN Board reject the EPDP on the Temporary Specification Recommendations 1-18 as a package, to trigger the GNSO Supplemental Recommendation process. Council discussed this approach with ICANN Board Liaison Wes Hardaker and Board Member Greg DiBiase, to move it forward. - Council also discussed next steps - the mechanism for handling the Supplemental Recommendation process. Some councilors were of the opinion that this process should be kept at Council level, some though the use of a small team plus would be useful. This is something that will need some intervention in order to tip the scale for a Small Team Plus, to allow select non-councilors the opportunity to shape the supplemental recommendations.
