In or around 2012 I suggested the establishment of a Liaison from ALAC to GAC. If I remember, this idea was taken up by Olivier with his counterpart in GAC, whose reply was negative or, at best, inconclusive. Olivier, is that correct? Maybe the mood in GAC has changed: it would be worthwhile approaching the new GAC Chair with this proposal.
