Hi I did bring this up before, but: The Liaison FROM the ccNSO generally attends the ccNSO meetings and I attend the ALAC meetings and we co-ordinate with each other. (Sometimes we both attend a meeting, but we generally share the load) That is how we have been working for the entire year, so attendance at ccNSO meetings and teleconferences is not a valid performance criterion. Also, the ccNSO meetings are not coordinated with ALAC meetings, so there are many times that there is nothing new to report for one ALAC meeting and then for the next ALAC meeting the report is on 2 ccNSO meetings. These performance criteria do not IMO work well for liaisons as they seem to be set up to preclude any flexibility in one's way of working and coordinating with other groups that is not the ONE prescribed way (which BTW was not prescribed in Nov 2007 when I accepted the nomination for ccNSO liaison, nor has it been laid out at any time since as far as I know) Jacqueline At-Large Staff wrote:
Dear All:
Somewhat belatedly, we can announce the publication of the September 2008 statistics as they relate to the ALAC Rule 21 performance obligations of members and ALAC Liaisons.
