I was not in Prague but for ALAC to have decided to go the EC route, I want to assume there may have been some either formal or informal discussion with the other DPs with support(in principle) from at least 1 of the DPs. I think what's most important now (and moving forward) to "beat the bushes" -- ALAC leadership (in particular) should be contacting the other SO/ACs (and GNSO SG/Cs) IMMEDIATELY to try to get support. "Build it and they will come" won't work here. ALAC/At-Large can either improve or diminish its standing/reputation with how we handle this period.
