NomCom delegate elections
I'd like to know the RALOS choices for their delagates before voting. I wont like to vote against them. I only know the choice of LACRALO and I'm not sure if everyone else knows it. I agree completely. For the two regions that have forwarded more than one candidate (NA and LAC), private advice from the ALAC members from that country (and particularly the RALO-appointed members) would be very appreciated. This should be done either with the ALAC-INTERNAL list, or if the advice is very private, to the actual e-mail addresses on the ALAC members, bypassing the mailing list. (I will send those addresses privately.) ALAC At 09/09/2009 10:44 AM, jsalgueiro@cantv.net wrote:

NARALO has put forward two candidates for the NomComm, but we also held a Bigpulse vote amongst the ALSs that indicated a clear preference (Eduardo Diaz). This result is not private.
Similarly, we are holding a Bigpulse vote so that NARALO members can indicate their preferences between the three candidates who have put their names forward as ALAC's Board Liaison. The results of this vote will be discussed at next week's NARALO conference call, with the objective of guiding the NA ALAC reps (and anyone else who is interested) in their Board Liaison voting. That vote was supposed to have started Monday -- however, due to Staff error it won't start until later today. - Evan
But I noticed that both names were put forward for ALAC vote. Shouldn't just Eduardo's name be there? D Darlene A. You'll find that on the Elections process page it clearly says that the advice of RALOs will be taken into account, but that all candidates proposed by RALOs will be on the ballot. It is for that reason that we included all candidates. Thompson, Darlene wrote:
