Dear William Tibben, I am referring to the item of any other business which your raised on the recent APRALO call. "Yes I just had a question from somebody in ISOC about the proposal for Small Island State grouping that was a topic of I think on the - a couple of meetings ago we discussed it briefly. And I was just wondering if there was discussion of this in Singapore? Or does anybody know the current status of discussion working group?" Upon thinking about this, I now recall that this was all the work of the Grographical Regions Working Group. The ALAC has issued a statement in February: http://www.atlarge.icann.org/correspondence/correspondence-2-07feb11-en.htm This was based on a working page: https://community.icann.org/x/-wOB The original public comment call was on: http://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/public-comment-201101-en.htm#geo-regi... I believe that the working group, which is an ICANN Cross-Community group, will continue its work, based on the input it received. Its charter was on: http://www.icann.org/en/topics/geographic-regions/charter-26jun09-en.htm An update was given by Dave Archbold & Robert Hoggarth in Singapore: http://singapore41.icann.org/node/24531 I hope this helps, Olivier -- Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond, PhD http://www.gih.com/ocl.html
