FYI: Yes, I have submitted a proposal, but not under ALS per se, but on behalf of Internet community in Japan - on IPv4/v6 migration, with JPNIC, Internet Association Japan, and possibly Japanese government, as well as Cisco etc. Kumon Center and GLOCOM are also co-host, from the civil society. izumi 2007/7/16, Kuo-Wei Wu <kwu@wu-city.com>:
If any one did, please let me know. I am interested too.

Colleagues,
I would like to know if there are any ALS' from our region submitting workshop proposals for IGF 2007?
If your ALS is submitting (or would like to), I would like to hear from you.
Perhaps APRALO should consider its (and in particular the region it operates in) involvement with the IGF process?
The following clause(s) from our Operating Principles perhaps have some relevance:
3.1.2 to promote, understand and advocate for individual Internet users and to provide a forum for outreach, co-ordination and exchange of information and knowledge for persons who live in the Asia Pacific region as defined herein;
3.1.4 to bridge the digital divide and encourage users in developing countries to participate in APRALO.
I look forward to your comments.
