I nominate *Satish Babu* for the position of *ALAC Delegate to the NomCom from the APRALO Region*. The NomCom selects appointees for various ICANN leadership positions, including the largest cohort of ICANN Board Members. Thus, IMHO, our NomCom Delegate position is a strategic role requiring a senior community member with broad experience who has been and is continuously and actively engaged in the ICANN community, beyond just APRALO. Satish is a longtime member of our community, and has served stints as Vice-Chair, Chair, NomCom Delegate and ALAC member for APRALO. More than that, he previously chaired the At-Large IDN-WG, contributed significantly to the UASG, and now, actively participates in GNSO PDPs. He has also been in leadership positions in various fora in APAC, including in several cases, as a board member. I think all of this makes him an ideal candidate to be appointed to the NomCom again, to draw on his wealth of experience in helping to select the best candidates for different ICANN leadership positions.
