Hello all, This is a call for nominations for the opening role we have as APRALO ALAC representative starting from the end of the Dakar meeting for a period of 2 years. Cheryl Langdon-Orr, who will step down after the Dakar meeting has given her all for this role and will be sorely missed. The person elected will have an orientation with Cheryl to go through the duties and responsibilities. Please send any nominations to the list before the 6th of September. Thank you so much for your attention and time. The timeline is as follows 1. Call for Nominations: The Regional Secretariat will make a call for nominations to the Discussion List no later than 31-August-2011. 2. Nomination Period: Nominations shall be accepted for one week after the Secretariat calls for nominations up to 6-September-2011. 3. Acceptance Deadline: The nominees need to accept their nomination no later than seven days after the nomination period ends 13-September-2011. 4. Vote Deadline: If a vote is required, the vote to select a representative shall begin no later than one week after the end of the acceptance deadline 14-September-2011 and end no later than 20-September-2011.
