Thanks, I'm using a dial-up connection, which means I cannot be online and on the phone simultaneously. The dial-up connection is not only painfully slow but very expensive. I can only try my luck. In case, I cannot join the call, here is my submissions: 1.IGF Meeting in Hyderabad. Hong mentioned it was being held in Asia and we should have representation. Everyone agreed participation was of utmost importance, but logistics and getting people there would be a big issue. Cheryl wanted to know if any ALS would be going there anyway. The deadline for application is at the end of April and budget details need to be submitted regarding this ASAP. Hong was going to set up a link where people can inform us if they are going and if they need funding. I have set up a page on APRALO wiki. People can easily access and send in the info. 2.Bilal said he would be attending the Dubai ICANN regional meeting and his PowerPoint would be sent to everyone on the call. The main issues going to be discussed would be IDN and its impact on the Asia-Pacific region. I'm looking forward to Bilal's update on this. 3.Regarding the budget, Bilal wanted Cheryl to send all budget items from the November and December meetings alongside the APNG Camp and IGF proposals. Cheryl said the ALAC Budget Sub-Committee would be meeting soon and we could get support from them. Pavan has found a list of members of Budget committee. I'm not sure if it's been revamped. 4.To close, Cheryl mentioned that the ALAC response to the GNSO Working Group would be made available by the 25th of March, we had 7 days until 1200UTC on the 31st of March to make comments and on the first of April, it will be sent out to ICANN. I sent in a statement on behalf of the APRALO after our discussion at the last call. Hong On Tue, Apr 22, 2008 at 10:43 AM, Cheryl Langdon-Orr <cheryl@hovtek.com.au> wrote:
Hong are you able to be online during the call? Because this is how such a dial out can be organized ...
If you require a dial-out to attend remotely because there is no toll-free number in the country you will be in at the time of the meeting, please use the form at http://go.adigo.com/go/outlink.php?sid=7298 . IMPORTANT: Precede your country code in the form with 011 and not 00 or the dialer will not be able to ring you.
I think you need to do that around the time of the call beginning (say 5 mins earlier or some such... but I'm really not sure... If I get to talk to an operator in the call and you have not joined us via this method, I will of course pass on your requested dial out number though...

Dear Cheryl,
I will try to call in but am not sure if the toll free number is working in China Mainland or not. It used to be blocked. In case I cannot call in, could you let the operator call me at +86-10-82425692?
Thanks

Your Apologies will be noted Izumi... on a related matter can you let me know when we can have a short chat (Skype will do) relating to some schedule difficulties for all the meetings and workshop(s) we need to arrange for in Paris Meeting and the time currently allocated for the IPv6 Workshop you have arranged?
Thanks
