Hi Nirmol, The investment in setting up a registry can vary a lot. One key consideration is whether you are going to outsource your technical infrastructure and operations. If these are outsourced to a technology partner and you share revenue with them, the upfront investment can be vastly reduced. Dear All, Can anyone give me an idea as to teh approximate cost involved in becoming a registry and/or registrar ? I shall be grateful. As IDNs have been opened, there is a great amount of interest here in India in getting the local language IDN registered. My friends in 'dot asia' could also help me in this, since they have a first hand knowledge of getting this done.
