Fwd: Regional Advice on ALS Application from OSIA
Dear APRALO colleagues, As you may remember we have been discussing an application from Korea for an ALS. I am pleased to announce that the ICANN staff have forwarded me a copy of their Due Diligence - attached for your reference. Please do not distribute this application to third parties unless it is vitrally in the best interest of APRALO and i also ask that you delete your copy when you have completed reviewing it. Could you please send me any feedback regarding this application by UTC 07:00 July 24 2009. Essentially we are required to give the ICANN staff our regional advise so the processes can move in motion to accept or decline this application. We will take no correspondence or opinion from your ALS as a vote in favour and as of your support, otherwise please email me and or the list with any concerns. Regards, Karaitiana Taiuru
Dear Karaitiana and Pavan,
On July 25th, we received an APRALO ALS application from the Open Standards and Internet Association (OSIA). Please find the Due Diligence form attached.
We kindly ask you to provide us with the regional advice for this application in your capacity as the At-Large Secretariat for this region. Your advice will support the ALAC review on this application.
According to our time-line for ALS applications, the due date for the regional advice is August 13th 2009.
We would like to remind you that the DD form may contain sensitive information. Please read the form carefully before sending it to third parties.

As stated in our meeting *and in all the other venues I've spoken to this matter on* i.e. the ALAC Meeting earlier today... I give this application my unreserved and absolute support and in fact plan to take it to ALAC Vote as soon as the regional advice is in and no later than 2nd week of August...
