The article highlights several initiatives across the ISOC community that support women interested in technology careers and bring Internet access and training to women around the world.
Here at ISOC-NY we actively support local organizations who actively recruit girls into computer science, such as the New York City Foundation for Computer Science Education <http://csnyc.org/> (CSNYC) and Girls Who Code <http://girlswhocode.com/>. We have also lent international assistance to the ITU's Tech Needs Girls <http://www.techneedsgirls.org/> campaign.
