+1 Dev I agree that we need to ensure that our resources are more easily accessible. Our wiki is a good internal storage area but we need to be a little more creative about how we can make it easier for our outreach workers who might have difficulty getting onto the wiki, to access resources that will help them carry out their important role in their community. And that local community members can also access the material. M On Wed, 18 Dec 2019, 9:53 AM Dev Anand Teelucksingh, <devtee@gmail.com> wrote:
Hello Glenn, good points. One of the things that we should strive is to make our capacity work more accessible like perhaps on YouTube for easier sharing on social media and playable on mobile. Taking persons to the wiki for a link to a recording is an challenge for mobile users and persons unfamiliar with at large confused by the at large default meeting page.
It’s something that the o and e (maybe the TTF) needs to solve.

Hi All As I have stated before the problem with the CAPACITY BUILDING Webinars isn't getting people to speak on topics but rather the audience. The people volunteering need some task or responsibility. Lets take a minute to assess the number of sessions and the number of attendees plus the number per RALO and the number of new folks on the call. If we use some kind of metrics for NetGen, Fellows and ATLAS 3 Ambassadors as attendees we can measure tangible outcomes as to new folks. Perhaps some of the volunteers can record the names and their constituency per call and provide some analytics A calendar of all the talks with a consistent date and time would help people plan their time to include them into their schedules Some effort to create promotional literature and the distribution outside the ICANN bubble would also be a good idea Glenn Glenn McKnight ICANN NOMCOM 2019-2021 mcknight.glenn@gmail.com Curator for Internet Governance Hub Blog www.internetgovernancehub.blog <http://www.internetgovernancehub.blog> http://toronto.ieee.ca/ IEEE Toronto SIGHT Chair glenn.mcknight@ieee.org skype gmcknight twitter gmcknight 289-830 6259 .

Esteemed Colleagues:
The At-Large Capacity Building Working Group (CBWG) is seeking volunteers to participate in various initiatives that as part of our charter we wish to implement in 2020. Thus, please review the member's list at - https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/At-Large+Capacity+Building+Worki... to confirm your intention to continue engaged in this working group.
If you are interested in participating actively in this WG please send an email to staff@atlarge.icann.org with a line or two with your intention or confirmation.
One of our first tasks involves:
- Reviewing materials. - Updating the materials by volunteers. - Design modules to integrate into ICANN Learn as part of At Large materials for newcomers, seasoned individuals and keep up-to-date the way At-Large works as an Advisory Committee.
If you are interested, contact staff@atlarge.icann.org to be added to the CBWG.
We will set up a Doodle to schedule our first meeting for the week of January 13 - 17, 2020 and share our ideas and areas in which we can be more effective in Capacity Building of our community. It will be a 60-minute teleconference.
