The service is provided by Funredes (www.funredes.org), but uses BabelFish (with SYSTRAN providing the actual engine behind BabelFish, as it does for Google's translation system and also the European Union).

good to know.. we also used funredes service in the WSIS civil society plenary and african regional caucus lists.. karen
