Thanks for sending this Cheryl To be clear - Beau, we have no position approved by ALAC yet for the Special Advisor, and we need to have a proposal made for consideration by the ALAC to first create such a position. Izumi - about liaison to the GAC, I wrote the GAC chair and the Liaison FROM the GAC about 2 weeks ago and have not received any response to date about whether they would accept such a liaison from ALAC, and under what circumstances/restrictions... The idea of an unaccredited liaison has been raised in the mailing list, but ALAC hasn't officially considered such a position yet. There are a lot of posts with no nominations- I will work on the next steps in the next couple of days. Jacqueline
