At its meeting in Mexico City, the package of Registrar Accreditation Agreement amendments was unanimously approved. This was following a GNSO meeting earlier this year where the package was rejected.
As a result of the thematic session on rights and the Internet at the At Large Summit on Tuesday, a group of people and ALSes committed to start working on a draft of the proposed registrant rights charter. Now I guess we have to understand how this fits into this picture - maybe some of the people from the thematic session could be considered by the ALAC as names for this working group? It doesn't make sense to have an ALAC-GNSO working group plus an ALAC-ALS working group. Ciao, -- vb.
