Thank you Annette for your very positive feedback - and to the rest of the At-Large community in New Delhi who were similarly very positive with what they saw. I cannot remember the last time I saw spontaneous applause for a beta-test website but after all the months of work it was most welcome! I should like to add a few more people to the 'thank you' list firstly, Doug and Denise, who supported this project from the inception, and Marc Salvatierra, the very-hard-working webmaster, who has worked with the developer and myself for the past 9-months-plus and his contractors and colleagues, and last but not least Steve Temple, the developer of the framework of atlarge.icann.org (who is still working on the final special bits as we speak!). I think everyone will really like the result - I expect to be able to announce the public availability of the site in the next week and the steps to finish off bringing the new atlarge.icann.org completely live! The good news - we are back to free software based working tools. But the even better and almost unbeleivable news - after all the trouble we have been going through the last years - is: ALAC/RALOs can organize the structure of and feed in content on this website without having to go through a confirmation procedure by ICANN legal staff. No more delays, no more potential censorship and therefore, I guess, no more need to run a seperate website on our own. I am curious though what new legal perspective has been applicated. Anyhow, it seems there is, at least at this point, a real progress in ICANN's setting of participation procedures. It is great, that the time consuming parallel work and quarell and suffering from dealing with different websites of the last years seems to have an end. Congratulations to all, who helped to make that happen.
