I wouldn't expect the meeting to be disrupted in any significant way. You can check arrival conditions at http://www.lax.aero/lax/ welcomeLAX.cfm, in the event you're concerned. Once you land at the airport you are just a few blocks from the hotel. It is an easy shuttle ride to the venue. According to the ICANN website, "There are free shuttle buses to the hotel from the airport 24 hours and every 15 minutes (the buses are light blue and labelled "Hilton LAX")." http://losangeles2007.icann.org/venue Visitors should know, however, that the air here is particularly unhealthful right now. I live about 30 kilometers from the closest fire, yet the sky is blocked out by smoke. (My children's soccer games gave been cancelled due to poor air quality.) If you have respiratory issues, you might decide to participate remotely, or just stay indoors during the meeting, but otherwise the areas around the airport shouldn't be significantly disrupted. The hot dry winds are expected to end this evening, so I would expect clearer skies by the time people begin arriving on Saturday. Bret
