Finally, someone does the math and discovers(!) that the gTLD rush is simply too many TLDs chasing too few registrants.
And that's not counting the likely effect of Google, which I'd bet will be eventually giving second-level domains away for free.
The author, not wanting to totally turn off his audience, suggests that "new gTLD’s investments must be viewed as a long term investment"
And then, likely, not even that.
