Propagation of liaison reports
All, I am unsure whether liaisons should be posting their reports to the five regional lists as well. It might be a good thing to do, to include those who are not subscribed to the global list, but on the other hand it might tend to become a sort of spamming, and I've already seen appeals against crossposting between global and regional lists (though I would post the message separately to each list). What should I do? Thanks, -- vb. Vittorio Bertola - vb [a] bertola.eu <-------- --------> finally with a new website at http://bertola.eu/ <--------
Post on the wiki and send a link to the main at large list? I cannot imagine that the regions would see a report from a liaison as spam. If you are concerned, ask them :) On 9 Jul 2007, at 16:40, Vittorio Bertola wrote:

Vittorio, Nick is correct. You can sent a liaison report to multiple lists. I would ask those who might be interested in discussing it or commenting upon it, however, to make an effort to select a single list for those purposes. Bret On Jul 9, 2007, at 10:43 AM, Nick Ashton-Hart wrote:
