Hi Ron, When did a representative say that? The BC's GNSO Councilors are bound to "remain faithful to approved positions" of the BC. I believe the existing Charter is perfectly clear and correct in this respect, and we have suggested the same text in the proposed Charter, section 7.5. Councilors should never be bound by the informal consensus of a small subgroup of members, though such input is always welcome. Hope this answers your question and concern.
