Thanks, Mark. I will take it then that the template approach is okay with you. 😊I'll get mine drafted today or tomorrow at latest. There are some background issues about how business engages in the IGF that we can certainly discuss when we are together. But, there are several BC members who attend, and who actively engage, but in their personal capacity. IGF is not per se about ICANN, so we would not want to try to do too much of a BC message, while supporting the importance of the BC being engaged, and informed, so that individual members can be more directly engaging. ________________________________ From: Mark W. Each of us received a $700 sponsorship. I have drafted a DRAFT template, so that we can collaborate, with individual submissions, on a report to the BC. Of course, your edits, and further suggestions from other members of the Outreach Committee are welcome. This is the first time that the BC has provided sponsorship to participants, or a Remote Hub. While the amounts were probably about 1/3 +/- of the total costs, it was an essential support, for my own participation. And, I suspect for all of you as well. Other Constituencies have submitted special requests to ICANN to bring more attendees to an IGF and even conduct a Day Zero event. Perhaps we can use this as a first evaluation of the benefits for the BC, and ICANN overall as we then consider our proposals into the ICANN funded activities for 2018/2019. Please, do offer edits and suggestions to the draft template, so that all of us can quickly draft our shared report. If you can offer edits by January 8, then we could set a deadline of January 11 for the first shared draft, and then finalize it to send to the BC membership/Execom and for publication on the BC list. All ideas very welcomed. Marilyn Cade
