I made two new proposals. 1) Business Summit/@ICANN63 - shared funding with ICANN, BC, and raising sponsorships from European companies and associations 2) funding for allowing the BC to bring a number of BC small business members to the next IGF2018 to conduct a Day Zero event, potentially host a booth, and participate actively in other workshops and business organized events, including ICANN's workshops I would like to also recommend - again - that a fourth officer from all Constituencies be incorporated in the core funding, and if not, then provided as an extraordinary additional budget request [we need to continue to work to get four officers funded]. The requirement that we can only bring Senior Leaders from the region in our Senior Leadership program is a limitation that is not really helping us. I want to propose that we ask for flexibility to have at least one from the region, but by exception, can bring a senior leader from the last region, or the next region. Here is how that would look: For the upcoming ICANN61, we have one confirmed and qualified senior executive [pending request] and another who was nominated and has now noted to me that he can get other funding. Ideally, we could then shift that funding for our second senior leader who needs funding to a business executive from LATAM, to get a head start.... And it could be that at ICANN61 outreach, we will find a senior executive from an association very interested, but not yet able to confirm BC membership, but we could then bring her/him to ICANN62.
