BC Outreach Opportunities at Hyderabad.
Hello Team, The BC is scheduled to speck to the ICANN Fellowship group on Monday 7th November between 11.00am - 11.30am tentatively at room G.01/02. I have inquired to know if during that session we could be allowed to distribute our current newsletter to all the fellows and Siranush has agreed to that. On our plan to sit at the Information booth to attend to inquiries to join or volunteer for the BC by community members, we are required to propose a day and time for this. I ran into Riccardo at the information booth and he has obliged to arrange for the use of ICANN's social media tools to publicize our engagement at the booth in-order to drive more traffic there where we decide a date and time. Hoping to get our thoughts and feedback on this. Lawrence.
So sorry not to be with all of you at ICANN57. I am still not fully recovered from a physical issue that I have from an old injury. I really apologize, as I wanted to be with all of you. Lawrence, can you verify if Omar is attending ICANN57? Perhaps he could also take an hour at the booth. We have always handed out our BC newsletters, so that is good to hear that it is reconfirmed. I was surprised to see that the business outreach event is at the same time as the CSG-GAC lunch. that will be a challenge to manage. I have just sent three special guests to Jimson for the CSG-GAC lunch : MAG chair, IGf Focal point for National and Regional IGF Initiatives, and a UNDESA attendee.
