Dear all, I sent to Sala my draft version of EURALO dashboard, but maybe there are some problems e-mail boxes after summer - at least some my letters did no reach addressee( I did not finish it yet, but I tried to gathet all available information on European ALSes. I will highly appreciate anybody's help with it, because just now I am extremely busy with our Fourth IGF-UA (3 October) and II Forum "Media for information society" (4 October). In my table I marked members of the Council of Europe with bold (but there are no Armenia, Azerbaijan, Gergia and Cyprus in this list, and there are some problems with Yugoslavia. I clearly understand, that these are political issues, so I would like to avoid any political incorrectness). Next issue I tried to analyze - what are the limitations of privacy for collecting and sharing information on ALSes. I visited the sites of 29 ALSes. On 22 of them there are names of their leaders (including 9 with their personal contacts). Maybe there are more names on web-sites, and I just could not find them in unknown languages( The rest have at least impersonal contact information ("e-mail us" or info@...). Also I looked for At-Large symbols or any information, that this organization is the member of At-Large. I found it on 8 web-sites (ISOC Finland even has special section for At-Large). To put At-Large logo with direct link to atlarge.icann.org is extremely easy, but it is extremely effective mechanisms of At-Large promotion within national community. Other columns to be filled in - participation in monthly teleconference calls, comments, participation in Working Groups, membership in ccNSO (for ccTLD), membership in GAC (from country), IDNs, new gTLDs, national IGFs, graduates of Diplo, ICANN fellowship, EuroSSIG and so on, voting in Dubai/openness and inclusiveness of WCIT process. The last column is country code. Why I did this dashboard? First of all to analyze, which questions can be removed from our survey - to make it shorter and easier to fulfil. And, of course, it's extremely important to coordinate this survey with ATLAS survey. Waiting for your comments, Best regards. If I remember right, there was a discussion on the potential overlap between the ATLAS 2 survey and our survey. There was a suggestion that since we were largely interested in the capacity aspect (present capacity as well as gaps), we needn't collect other information (which we can get from ATLAS2), but I don't think we took a final call on this. If we can decide on this aspect, we can quickly wrap it up and go ahead.****
Perhaps Dev can add to this discussion since he was there in both the meetings at Durban.
BTW, the page history indicates that it has not been edited since 18 July, so this looks like the current version

The Survey pretty much needs to be finalised and wrapped up. Following Durban, people have had more than enough time to make changes if any. I like Tijani's additions as well. Just so we are not working on an old draft when it has already been revised, please double and triple check. When you are all satisfied, they can then be hosted on Survey monkey and the link sent to all.****

We should not collect information we already have, that was what was decided already and agreed to by all, such as contact details of ALSes we should target both ALSes and members of ALSes as respondents of our Survey. Let Staff work on ALS contact details and updating their records etc.****
