Dear Austin and colleagues, Thank you so much Austin for your support despite your busy schedule. Your input over the years is very much appreciated. @CCWP-HR members, kindly feel free to nominate yourself or someone else to help co-chair the team as we chart the next steps for our group. -- Best Regards, Ephraim Percy Kenyanito Legal Researcher International Trade, Technology, Media & Telecommunications Law Website: https://ekenyanito.com/ <https://ekenyanito.com/> Twitter: @ekenyanito <https://twitter.com/ekenyanito> PGP Fingerprint: B0FA394AF73DEB7AA1FDC7360CFED26DE6BA8DC1 On 4/16/21 7:23 PM, Austin Ruckstuhl wrote:
Dear CCWP-HR members,
It is with regret that I am writing to inform you of my decision to resign my position as Co-Chair, effective immediately.
My other commitments have become too great for me to be able to provide the time necessary for co-leading this group with Ephraim, and I feel it is best for me to make room for someone with the time and energy to devote to the role.
It has been a pleasure being a part of the CCWP-Human Rights and this decision in no way reflects any change in my sentiment regarding the importance of ICANN’s continued work on Human Rights and the associated HRIAs.
I am glad that we have been able to conduct a couple of HRIAs, while documenting our process and calling for more action.
If I can be of any assistance during the time it will take to fill the position, please don't hesitate to ask.
Best regards,
Austin Ruckstuhl
