Draft presentations GAC & Constituencies
Hi all, I've been asked to give an overview of our CCWP work at the GAC WG and at several constituencies, for this I made a draft presentation. Please find it attached. Looking forward to hear what you think. The presentations should take a maximum of 15 minutes, including Q&A, so I'd like to keep it short. Let me know if you thing something is missing or should be reformulated. I'll also work on a presentation of the report for Wednesdays session, I will send that to you when it's ready for comments. Looking forward to hear from you. Best, Niels -- Niels ten Oever Head of Digital Article 19 www.article19.org PGP fingerprint 8D9F C567 BEE4 A431 56C4 678B 08B5 A0F2 636D 68E9
The fine print is too fine, I am going to make my comments straight into the power point so you can take them or leave them....looks good though! cheers Steph On 2015-06-21 11:41, Niels ten Oever wrote:

Since it is PDFed, I cannot edit. Here are my Comments: 1. ON the title page it would be great if you could identify yourself as NCSG. 2. The fine print is way, way too small. The ownership/authorship of those reports must be more prominent, and at least legible. Title or topic of report in a couple of words would be helpful, particularly to non-english speakers 5. Get rid of the blank space, put an apostrophe in ICANN's Since we will be referring to the Ruggies principles, it might be good to add that to this slide (bullet one) again, to help folks follow the discussion better. 6. I am a little worried that this last slide looks too ambitious.....but if the group feels our community is ready for it, damn the torpedoes. IMHO, we are not ready yet.... Thanks Niels for the opportunity to comment! Stephanie On 2015-06-21 11:41, Niels ten Oever wrote:

Hi, I have question, is this from Article 19 or the WP? Same for the report. I think that cross WP materials should perhaps list thanks at the end to those who paid for the work, but it makes me uncomfortable to see it used as if they are the ones creating the work. I also think that if any authors is listed, all of the authors/contributors should be listed. Just saying avri On 21-Jun-15 15:18, Niels ten Oever wrote:

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hi Avri, The presentation is from the CCWP, as are the reports. Marilia said after the GAC WG session that the Article19 logo on page 1 of the presentation might be confusing, so I have removed it now. We talked about the status of the report during the last call and agreed that we could publish this as a report by the CCWP yet because of lack of time, therefore we made it an Article19 report with the current title (Issue report to the CCWP). I hope that during the working session we will be able to set out a process for the CCWP to adopt this report. That is also the reason why no authors are mentioned to ensure that there is no confusion.
