As you may know, from time to time cross-community Working Groups are set up between the Supporting Organisations (SOs) and Advisory Committees (ACs), dealing with topical issues of mutual interest.
To structure the operations of future SO/AC Working Groups, a framework of principles needs to be created, which is to guide future Cross Community Working Groups. These principles should clarify matters such as: - defining the topics that should be dealt with; - aligning the scope; - determine how to deal with the output (especially if there is disagreement); - determine when to close the Cross-community Working Group. We are now looking for volunteers who are willing to dedicate some time on developing such a framework. Any volunteer should be prepared to participate in telephone conferences and actively participate in online discussions. We are especially looking for people who are interested in setting operational principles and process aspects of cross-community working groups. You do not need to be a ccNSO member to participate!
