I would like to add the question on whether we could have foreseen it and whether we can foresee it for any future candidate. Regards, Paulos ============================== Dr Paulos Nyirenda Malawi .mw ccTLD On Wed, 14 Jul 2010 23:14:07 +1000 (EST), Chris Disspain wrote
All,
Greetings from the sunny Dordogne on Bastille Day.
2 issues arise here.
The first is why and how this has happened and what if anything we can/should do about it. We can discuss this over the next couple of weeks and in detail, if we wish, on our next council call. By then we should be fully briefed on the background by Becky and any others on the ATRT who are prepared to provide us with information.
The second and more pressing issue is to replace Becky on the ATRT. As you know, I was happy to take the second seat on the ATRT and am still happy to do so. Under the current circumstances this seems to me the most appropriate way of proceeding unless anyone has objections or concerns.
The next ATRT call is scheduled for 15.00 UTC on Wednesday 23 July so may I ask for objections, questions, comments or input to the list by Monday 19th please.
Cheers,
Chris

I was forced to choose between representing ICM in connection with what I believe is an uncontested issue - providing due diligence materials and contract provisions in response to the Board's decision in Brussels. I did consider turning down the representation, but ultimately determined that this was simply not fair to ICM, and that it raised profound accountability issues in and of itself. I am very sorry to fail to carry out the trust that the council and the ccNSO invested. But I would do the same for each and every one of you. I believe that the ccNSO now has a seat to fill, and I am happy to staff/support anyone who takes up that position. Becky J.
