Hi Chris,
Updates to date:
- There is no joint meeting in Seoul (assuming you have confirmed this with Janis, Chris), but the Liaison Group will meet on Monday afternoon, and is hoping to meet the GAC liasion members Monday afternoon also.
- The cc members of the group to be increased to 2 members per region as follows, if the ccNSO members agree in Seoul:
Asia Pacific - Keith Davidson(.nz) and Gihan Dias (.lk) Europe - Annebeth Lange (.no) and Martin Boyle (.uk) North America - Keith Drazek (.us) and Byron Holland (.ca) South America - Oscar Robles-Garay (.mx) and Patricio Poblete (.ch) Africa - Paulos Nyirenda (.mw) and Vika Mpisane (.za)
The rising agenda items to discuss with the GAC include:
- Ongoing IDN's for ccTLD's, Fasttrack, and ccNSO PDP for this (Priority 1) - Protection of geographic names in new gTLD's - Ongoing ICANN regions (low priority for the GAC) - ccNSO Delegations / Redelegations Working Group - Seeking to have a joint GAC / ccNSO lunch at the next ICANN meeting
Cheers
Keith
