The main tasks of the Caucus are to evaluate the proposed policy for a Review Mechanism Pertaining to IFO decisions that apply to ccTLDs, provide recommendations to the Board (including in potential dialogue with the ccNSO Council when needed), provide strategic advice to ICANN org during the implementation phase, and developing a Supplemental Board Statement and resulting dialogue in the event that the Board does not accept the recommendations. The following Board members volunteered to be members of the Caucus: Becky Burr, Avri Doria, Edmon Chung, Patricio Poblete, León Sánchez, Katrina Sataki (chair). Caucus support staff have prepared a detailed list of items that need to be completed. The work plan and next steps will be discussed at the first Caucus call on 21 July. As you know, the first steps are to publish the Board report for public comments and submit a letter to the GAC to ask for GAC advice on the proposed policy. As the chair of the Caucus, I will provide you with regular updates: monthly updates on the status of the general progress and ad-hoc updates if needed.
