Dear Mathieu, At its call last Thursday the Council has not (yet) discussed the detail of the Accountability process and timeline. The ICANN announcement, was made just prior to the Council meeting and the FAQ was published afterwards. Focus of the last call was on the charter and creation of the (cross-)community working group to develop an IANA Stewardship Transition Proposal on Naming Related Functions. As you may have seen the charter was adopted by the Council and a call for volunteers was send out. Although I can and will not speak on behalf of the Council, I assume that the Council will look closer at the aspects and details around the Accountability Process soon. I understand the various communities are asked to identify experts to be their representatives in the "coordination group" by sep 15th.
My question to the council would be : what is the process and timeline ? If I have missed it or understood incorrectly, please accept my apologies.
