Dear all, As you may recall the review of review process, also included a discussion whether there is a need to amend ICANN’s obligations under Article 4, Section 4.6 of the ICANN Bylaws to initiate Specific Reviews. Recently ICANN opened a public comment period on a Bylaw amendment (see: https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/proceeding/standard-bylaws-amendment...). The public comment period will close Monday 13 April. Since the ICANN Prague meeting (June 2025) the Council has consistently expressed the view that the ccNSO is agnostic with respect to the proposed Bylaw amendment and as briefly discussed in Mumbai the Council does not intend to provide any comment, unless some of you believe a comment is warranted by tomorrow 9 April 2026.
