Comment on the draft Operating Standards[icann.org]<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__icann.org_public-2Dcomm...>. The goal of the Bylaws-mandated Operating Standards (see Section 4.6[icann.org]<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__icann.org__resources_pa...>) is to provide for a transparent and consistent review process by documenting rules and procedures. Please note, most procedures detailed in the draft Operating Standards are either based on existing best practices, or on processes that have been adapted from comparable procedures already in existence elsewhere within ICANN. The draft has been prepared taking into account best practices from past and current reviews, and community input received throughout several public consultations.
