Dear all, One of the actions from last ccNSO Council was to check the charter of the JIG WG with regard to its closure date. This is what is stated in the charter: "Closure of the Working Group Upon adoption of either the IDN ccTLD Fast Track Implementation Plan or the new gTLD process by the ICANN Board of Directors, the WG will be closed, unless both the ccNSO and GNSO Council extend the duration of the JIG WG." As it is expected that the Implementation Plan for Fast Track process will be adopted at Seoul meeting, both the GNSO and ccNSO have to extend the duration of the JIG WG, if they want to proceed with the WG. If this is OK with you, then I would suggest to approve the aformentioned names as our full members to the JIG Working Group. Can I have your input on this please? It would be really good to have this resolved before the Seoul meeting, so please, let me have your feedback by tomorrow, Thursday!!!
