I am pleased to inform you that the ccNSO has launched its nomination process. It will close on 21 July. The ccNSO Council will then start its selection procedure and I hope our NomCom appointee will be known by 4 August. With respect to your call to look at diversity: the ccNSO is first and foremost concerned with the quality of its single candidate. As we are by defintion one of the most diverse groups, diversity is an integral part of our selection process. Taking into account that we have only one seat on the NomCom, we are not the group at whom you should appeal to take diversity into consideration. As for your request: “...please send the name of the RSSAC delegate no later than Friday, 4 August 2017 to NomCom Staff Support” This might be a challenge as I am not sure RSSAC is aware they are supposed to inform us about their selection :) But we will do our best to send you the name of the ccNSO delegate by the date. I would also like to use the opportunity to thank Jörg for his excellent service and contribution! We hope service on the NomCom will be interesting and rewarding.
