Moreover, there will be two further sessions, with particular relevance to ccNSO members and the broader ccTLD Community: ccNSO governance session Tuesday, 13 October 2020 | 10:00-11:30 UTC The goal of this session is to consult the ccNSO membership regarding some topics that have a direct impact on the governance structure of the ccNSO, specifically on the expected interaction and roles and responsibilities of the Council and ccNSO membership. The topics to be addressed include the 2004 internal Rules of the ccNSO, and the decision making in the context of the ccNSO as Decisional Participant. The results of the session will provide the basis for further work on the aforementioned topics by the ccNSO Council and the ccNSO Guidelines Review Committee (GRC). DNS in times of covid-19: the ccTLD experience Wednesday, 14 October 2020 | 12:00-13:30 UTC & 14:00-15:00 UTC This session will focus on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the business side of ccTLDs. The main topic of part 1 will be (regional) ccTLD domain name registration trends. Presenters include Patrick Myles (CENTR), who will speak about the CENTRstats Global TLD Report 2020/2, followed by contributions from Alex Corenthin (.sn), David Curtin (.ie), Ai-Chin Lu (.tw) and Alejandra Reynoso (.gt). The goal of part 2 is to have a moderated panel discussion around the various factors that drive these trends. Session chair is Yuri Takamatsu (.jp) and moderator is Irina Danelia (.ru).
