Dear All, The ccNSO Internet Governance Liaison Committee (IGLC) invites the community to share their perspectives on the most pressing Internet governance topics emerging in their regions since the ICANN81 Annual General Meeting — and looking ahead. What are the notable policy, legislative, or regulatory developments related to the Internet in your region? Any issues, discussions or initiatives that affect ccTLDs or the wider Internet ecosystem in your region? What issues are local stakeholders (government, operators, civil society, business) prioritizing in Internet governance discussions? Let us know! Your insights will help the IGLC map regional priorities, identify trends, and shape its ongoing work. How to contribute: Please provide your input through the survey no later than 12 January, end of day. https://forms.gle/UoCeykbSD91a5RK1A What happens next: The IGLC will review and discuss all community input during its mid-January meeting. Your contribution helps ensure a diverse and globally representative understanding of Internet governance developments. We encourage everyone to participate. BACKGROUND The ccNSO Internet Governance Liaison Committee (IGLC)<https://ccnso.icann.org/en/workinggroups/iglc.htmttps:/ccnso.icann.org/en/an...> supports ccTLDs in navigating Internet governance issues. In June 2024, it released “Towards WSIS+20: The GDC, SDGs, and Why They Matter to ccTLDs<https://ccnso.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-04jun24-en.htm>”, examining the implications of WSIS+20 and the Global Digital Compact. The committee also created the Internet Governance Heat Map<https://icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/x/USF2Bg> to track regional priorities and emerging topics, and participates in ICANN meetings and other events to address issues such as geographical indications, the digital divide, how ccTLDs contribute to sustainable development goals, and more.
