Dear Eberhard, The current call for volunteers complies with the ToR, ccNSO internal guidelines, and Council’s instructions. I previously asked what exactly you would like conveyed to Council. Based on your latest reply, I understand the request as follows — please confirm if this is correct so it can be put to Council at its meeting on Thursday, 18 September: • That Council revise the Terms of Reference of the ccNSO Study Group on the IANA role in Disaster Recovery; and • That the Tech WG Chair or a Vice-Chair be appointed as an ex-officio member. Your prompt confirmation is appreciated. Eberhard,
I understand your email to mean you would like me to forward
something to Council. If that is the case, please clarify what
exactly you want conveyed.
The Terms of Reference (adopted by Council at meeting 218 in June
2025) govern the call for volunteers. The call was launched at
Council’s instruction and, in line with the ToR and the ccNSO
Working Group Guideline, all appointments are made by Council.
Council will decide on the appointments to the Study Group at its
next meeting on 18 September. In the meantime, anyone interested is
invited to apply by completing the form before 15 September 2025
(23:59 UTC). https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://forms.gle/77oiD7zbs6qaUQZ68__;!!PtGJab4!... <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://forms.gle/77oiD7zbs6qaUQZ68__;!!PtGJab4!...> [forms[.]gle]
