Frederico Neves (.br, LAC-region) was appointed per 1 October 2021. Therefore, only candidates from the AF, AP, EU and NA region are eligible. Term of Appointment In accordance with the charter of the CSC, the regular term of appointment shall be two (2) years, starting 1 October 2022. A member may be re-appointed for two additional terms (in total 3 terms). The CSC is responsible for monitoring Public Technical Identifier's (PTI) performance of the IANA naming function against the service level expectations in the IANA Naming Function Contract. The CSC analyzes performance reports provided by PTI and publishes its findings. The CSC is authorized to undertake remedial action to address poor performance of the IANA naming function, and if performance issues are not remedied, may escalate the issues to the ccNSO and GNSO.
