Dear Eberhard, At your request, the Council discussed whether to amend the June 2025 Terms of Reference for the Disaster Recovery Study Group i.e. whether to request the chair or other designee of the Tech WG to become member of the to Study Group ex officio. The outcome of the discussion was not to revise the Terms of Reference, with an understanding that members of the Tech WG and other community members who are interested in participating can always join. The Terms of Reference (adopted by Council at meeting 218 in June 2025) govern the call for volunteers. The call was launched at Council’s instruction and, in line with the ToR and the ccNSO Working Group Guideline, all appointments are made by Council.
Council will decide on the appointments to the Study Group at its next meeting on 18 September.
