The latest examples are the European Commission proposals<https://ec.europa.eu/growth/publications/regulation-geographical-indications...> which aim to reform the European Union framework on geographical indications with special attention for enforcement issues linked to the registration of domain names both as TLDs and second-level domains. This session will explore the potential impact of regulations and legislation on ccTLDs, and will include contributions from Brian Beckham (WIPO), Polina Malaja (CENTR), as well as ccTLD perspectives from Nick Wenban-Smith (.uk), Alyssa Quinn (.ca), Molehe Wesi (.za) and Anil Kumar Jain (.in).
