Dear Paul Thank you for the option to provide early input on the GNSO DNS Abuse Mitigation (DNSAM) Policy Development Process (PDP) sent on 18 February. At its meetings in December 2025 and January 2026 the ccNSO Council extensively discussed whether to participate in the aforementioned PDP, and if so, under which conditions. The ccNSO Council decided that “[...] the ccNSO does not have a view, nor holds a position on the matter addressed through the PDP, nor do the members represent a view or position of ccTLDs in general.” (see: ccNSO Council Resolution 225-01). In light of this decision, the ccNSO appointees will contribute in their individual capacities, sharing their respective views, knowledge, and experience with the intention of constructively enriching the process. Hi Alejandra I’m glad we were able to find time to talk this through. Based on this, my understanding is that your ccNSO members will be able to share and reflect on the experiences of other ccNSO members, and particularly can bring ccNSO DASC perspectives into this PDP, even if there may not be only one single unified view from your group.
