Dear All, During its latest face-to-face meeting in Hyderabad<http://buff.ly/2g0FS0Z> at the occasion of ICANN57, the ccNSO Council adopted the Election Report for the general Council Elections<https://ccnso.icann.org/about/elections/regular-election-report-31oct16-en.p...>, and appointed the following candidates to the ccNSO Council: REGULAR COUNCIL ELECTIONS Africa: Souleymane Oumtanaga (.ci) Asia-Pacific: Hirofumi Hotta (.jp) Europe: Nigel Roberts (.jj & .ge) Latin America/Caribbean: Alejandra Reynoso (.gt) North America: Stephen Deerhake (.as) The elected candidates will take their seat at the end of the ccNSO Council meeting in Copenhagen (ICANN58). SPECIAL COUNCIL ELECTIONS – African region The ccNSO Council also adopted the Election Report for the Special Council Elections 2017 for the African Region<https://ccnso.icann.org/about/elections/special-election-report-31oct16-en.p...>. Abdalla Omari (.ke), the elected candidate, took his seat at the end of the ccNSO Council meeting held on 7 November 2016 in Hyderabad (ICANN57). His term ends in March 2018.
