Sometimes funds are available from other Teams, occasionally the Board needs to approve new funds. I’m not sure if that timing (6 months) would work but the certainty of process is very helpful. I may be suggesting that ICANN does already for org projects - but could be expanded to community projects. It is a recommendation to end the Additional Budget Request (ABR) process beginning in Fiscal Year (FY) 2025, and for community groups to utilize the annual operating plan and budget (OP&B) process for all resource requests moving forward.
