The Co-Chairs of the Cross Community Working Group (CCWG) on new gTLD Auction Proceeds will be holding a informational webinar for the CCWG’s Chartering Organizations about the CCWG’s Final Report<https://community.icann.org/download/attachments/63149512/New%20gTLD%20AP%20...> on Tuesday 7 July at 12:00 UTC for 60 minutes. The Chartering Organizations are: the Address Supporting Organization (ASO), the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC), the Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO), the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO), the Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC), the Security and Stability Advisory Committee (SSAC), and the Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC). The primary purpose of this webinar is to provide information to the Chartering Organizations about the CCWG’s recommendations and Final Report, as well as answer questions that they may have as they consider the CCWG’s outputs. However, anyone who is interested in this topic is welcome to attend, even if they are not affiliated with the Chartering Organizations. As a reminder, the Chartering Organizations are expected to, in accordance with their own rules and procedures, review and discuss the output of the CCWG and decide whether to adopt the proposals and the recommendations contained within. Upon delivering the Final Report on 29 May, the CCWG Co-Chairs asked the Chartering Organizations to respond with the results of deliberations within 60 days. If this is not feasible, the Co-Chairs asked the Chartering Organizations to let them know when they expect to be able to provide a response. We look forward to your participation in the webinar.
