I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. I object to the proposed contract changes that are going to lead to price increases in .com registry. What is on offer to the end user for paying more? There is *no need* besides artificially increasing your own profits for these changes. You're behaving without integrity. I object. Chris Scherf

Dear ICANN, Your decision will affect many users in the world. That kind of greedy and unilateral decision are dirty capitalist game, increasing hate, inequality and capitalism in its worst form. Entrepreneurs and business owners all over America face challenges in starting and growing their business. One of our few reprieves is that getting a website and domain name is cheap and relatively easy with the right tools. Startups and new businesses under 5 years old create 99% of net new jobs in the USA, yet entrepreneurship is on a decline, and every year, more regulations and challenges come up that make starting a business more difficult. A free internet and easy access to domain names is essential to starting a business. Please don't add yet another challenge to entrepreneurs and startups by adopting this ammendment and allowing .com domain name pricing increases. Corey Wright Rural Entrepreneur & Business Owner

This new agreement with Verisign is awful. This is clearly a corrupt attempt to increase profits at the expense of a captive user base. Reverse this decision now before it is too late.

Sir, I have got the news that very soon the dot com domain price will be increased soon and it will keep on increasing for several years on regular basis. Dot com domain price is already on higher side. Requesting you not to allow such price hike for the benefit of the end users. Regards *Kamal*
