Hello, I am here to manifest my disagreement with the price raise for the .com domains. Instead, I believe you should make the .com domains more restrictive to buyers, by disallowing for instance parked domains or unused domains (unless there is a global trademark involved ofc). A price increase affects the whole community of internet users, especially those who create and provide content. Increasing prices on the .com domain punishes the plurality of small users and content providers who publish on a budget. This is not a decision to be made behind closed doors with the commercial interest of just one or two companies. Please include actually affected parties in the decision making process, and keep prices low, to maintain plurality of voices on the internet. Heiko Narrog Sendai, Japan

Totally dissapointed to see this bad news. Dont kill internet with your greed. If you increase the .com domain prices you will eventually let people say bye to the internet. Specially small marketers and bloggers like me.

I do NOT support this closed door deal to increase prices, which will further consolidate the power of the internet in fewer hands. This maneuver is at odds with the spirit of the internet. A consequence of this action might be regulatory oversight because if you won't listen, maybe our representatives will.

Hello, We are very concerned that there will be major changes to how .com domains are distributed and at what cost. This has global effects and yet only icann with verisign has negotiated this amendment without any transparency. As far as we can tell, this will create more expensive domain names which will unfairly disadvantage the poor and create uneven access to the internet. We oppose this amendment. Ming Tsai
